Opening lap of the CSCC Open Race at Croft Race Circuit in July 2017.

First outing for the Porsche 944 with fellow team mate Tony Blake in the Porsche 911 RSR being one of the cars that came flying past aswel as a caterham.

Need to start thinking about how to upgrade the power unit.

Final stage of the event was all about bringing the car home. Unable to catch those in front subject to any mechanical issues and a minute gap to the car behind, it was all about being smooth and continuing our good form.

Earlier in the day the tarmac under the tree's had been very slippy but by the early evening it had finally dissipated giving much more confidence in the car.

Another 4th place only a few seconds to those in front secured us 4th overall in the rally and another 1st in class during the Mallorca Rally Clasico.

The car was as always incredibly reliable but more importantly sounded amazing due to the straight through exhaust.

The circuit conditions were wet all day with heavy rain the night before. In the morning a car had spilled oil all around the the track and due to the risk the Clerk decided to run the Qualifying Session behind the safety Car. The grid would be determined based on Class and Decade of car. This unfortunately put us in 19th position with a lot of work to do. Never the less it made for some good racing.

After 40mins Josh finished 4th overall and 1st in class by over a lap.

Unfortunately the Go Pro mount was loose and the camera vibrated down over kerbs. The footage turns pretty poor with extreme exposure until its drops so much you can only see the floor...

The final stage of the day on the first full day of the rally the ambient temperature was warm and had dried out all of the tarmac that had been sheltered by the trees.

One of the longest stages of the event it also had some of the best flowing roads.

We finished 4th on the stage only 14 seconds off the lead which was a welcomed surprised as we believed that we could have pushed harder on reflection.
